Reflection Section

7.1 Introduction

This section presents my reflective notes on the learning experiences, practical work, and professional growth during Semester I of the M.Ed. programme. Reflection helped me critically analyze my academic progress, identify strengths and challenges, and plan improvements for continuous professional development.

7.2 Reflection on Learning Experiences

During Semester I, I gained meaningful learning experiences through theory courses, EPC practicals, and portfolio development activities. The coursework helped me understand educational theories, research methodology, and professional practices. EPC activities such as research proposal, 21st century skills education, AI in education, yoga education, and PBS enabled me to apply theory into practice. These experiences enhanced my reflective thinking, digital competence, and academic confidence.

7.3 Reflection on Challenges Faced

While working on academic tasks and practical activities, I faced challenges such as time management, balancing multiple assignments, and improving academic writing skills. I also experienced difficulty in organizing digital and physical artefacts systematically. However, these challenges helped me become more disciplined, organized, and self-motivated.

7.4 Reflection on Improvements and Action Plan

To overcome the challenges, I plan to improve my time-management skills and reflective writing ability. I will engage in regular academic reading and practice structured writing. I also aim to strengthen my pedagogical and research skills through continuous learning and professional development programmes.

7.5 Overall Reflection on Professional Growth

Reflective practice enabled me to become more aware of my learning process and professional responsibilities. This section helped me identify my strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement. The reflection process prepared me to become a reflective, responsible, and ethical teacher-educator committed to lifelong learning.
